15 things We're anxiously waiting for at #CMWorld

There are only two weeks to go before we hit the #CMW conference and looking through this year’s agenda, it seems like there’s going to be a crazy amount of awesome speakers, panels and events to attend, and we wanted to make sure we’re on top of it all, making the best use of our time in Cleveland. Check it out:

 Here are the 15 things we're anxiously waiting for at the two day event:

September 7

1) 8:30 -Exhibit Hall B - Lars Silberbauer

Lars Silberbauer-LEGO’s Global Director of Social Media & Search Marketing will be talking about Inside LEGO's content and social program, an insight to the company’s strategy of building brand relationships with kids of many ages. We’re not missing this one!

 2) 10:30 - Searchmetrics Stage - Panel

Sweeping Changes in B2B Content and Why sounds awesome, having four marketers from successful brands such as name will run us through what the future holds for B2B brands and how to deliver fun and engaging content and share tactics and strategies of their owns. We’ll be there.

3) 11:30 - This is when you have two speakers we’d like to hear at the same time but you can only go to one, unfortunately; 

Grand Ballroom B- Ardath Albee

The CEO of Marketing Interactions, Inc,  Ardath Albee who has been voted one of the 50 Most Influential People in Sales and Lead Management for the past four years, will be talking about How to use content  to maximize the B2B buying process (Buyer's Journey).

Grand Ballroom C - Bryan Kramer

Bryan Kramer, a bestselling author and strategist who consults Fortune 500 clients like IBM, Cisco and Pitney Bowes on humanizing business through social media and was named “Top 25 Social Influencer to Follow” by Forbes and one of the “100 Most Influential Tech People On Twitter” by Business Insider, and one of the “Top 50 Social CEOs on Twitter Globally” by The Huffington Post, will be speaking about How to create and manage an influencer marketing program

4) 12:35 - Room 3 - Mari Smith

“The Queen of Facebook” Mari Smith, Forbes’ Top Social Media Power Influencer will be talking about Social Video: How companies are succeeding with videos on Facebook. It's a date!

 

 

  5) 2:15 - Jr. Ballroom B - Matt Heinz

Matt Heinz President and Founder of Heinz Marketing, a multiple time winner of Top 50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management and Top 50 Sales & Marketing Influencers. His presentation 50 Essential Content Marketing Hacks will be full of proven tactics hacks and strategies that will increase your marketing performance.

6) 3:20 - Grand Ballroom A - Veronique Lafargue

Veronique Lafargue- the Global Head of Content Strategy for Google Apps for Work will run us through How to create content with the big three We’re in. (Personal, Local, experimental) in mind. We're in

7) 5:05 - Exhibit Hall B - Ann Handley

Ann Handley- Keynote speaker, Wall Street Journal best-selling author, Cited in Forbes as the most influential woman in Social Media and recognized by ForbesWoman as one of the top 20 women bloggers and the world’s first Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs, will help us set ourselves up for 2017 with a futuristic session: A look back at the marketing of 2017

8) 5:25 - Exhibit Hall B - Mitch Joel

We’ll close the first day with Mitch Joel in his session about Content is Dead: Focus on the network effect Focus on the network effect. Mitch is a keynote speaker, one of the top 100 online marketers in the world, and was awarded the highly prestigious Canada's Top 40 Under 40 is a columnist for the Harvard Business Review, Inc. Magazine, The Huffington Post and other magazines and newspapers. He is Google’s guest speaker whenever they need to explain innovation and marketing to the largest brands in the world- We want to hear what he has to say.

September 8

9) 8:45 - Exhibit Hall B - Michael Jr.

We’ll start the day day at #CMW nice and early, after a delicious breakfast in the main hall, with the comedian keynote speaker, Michael Jr., helping us Finding your way - A comedic look at finding your brand’s mission. Starting the day with a little bit of laughter is a great tone setter for the rest of the day.

10) 10:00 - Exhibit Hall A - Marcus Sheridan

The “web marketing guru” Marcus Sheridan will talk about  The 7 keys to owning the digital age and dominating your niche: Today Tomorrow and beyond. Marcus saved his own Swimming Pool company, River Pools, after the economic crash in 2007 by implementing inbound marketing to his business strategy. His success story is a huge inspiration and we are really excited to learn from him.

11) 11:05 - Searchmetrics Stage - Panel

there is a panel of four B2B marketers Bernie Borges, Amisha Gandhi, Chelsea Hunersen, and Andrew Spoeth that will share their strategy and tactics in a session Opportunities for B2B brands in live video

12) 1:45 - Exhibit Hall A - Jay Acunzo

After a lunch break we will resume our inspiring day in a boosting session with Jay Acunzo, VP of marketing and support at NextView, an early-stage VC firm investing in tech startups and the creator and host of the show Unthinkable, a podcast for craft-driven content creators, marketers, and anyone bothered by bad content, will show us the Unthinkable: How the world’s most creative content marketers do what other wouldn’t dare

13) 2:50 - Grand Ballroom B - Brian Carter

Brian Carter, the international very funny and insightful keynote speaker, has been on Bloomberg TV, in Mashable, The Wall Street Journal, Inc. and Entrepreneur. Brian has created successful strategies for companies like NBC, Microsoft and Universal Studios. His session about Facebook advertising lead generation and content that sells will give you plenty of tips and most importantly, laugh you head off. Yes, Brian is also a stand up comedian.

14) 4:35 - Exhibit Hall A - Mark Hamill

Mark Hamill, the legendary Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars will be the closing Keynote speaker at CMW this year. We actually don’t know what he’ll talk about as CMW left it as a mystery on their site but it doesn’t matter because we are going to listen to Luke Skywalker no matter what!
